May I submit my abstract to other symposia?

Winter Meeting
Abstracts may be submitted for presentation at another meeting but may not be presented at more than one meeting. If you choose to dual-submit the abstract, and NOT present at PVSS, you must notify the office as soon as you make that decision. Work submitted and presented at PVSS must be original.

Spring Meeting
Abstracts may not be submitted for presentation at another meeting. Work submitted and presented at PVSS must be original.

May I submit an abstract that has been presented elsewhere?

Please do not submit work that has been either published or presented elsewhere.

How will I know if my abstract has been accepted?

Please be certain that your e-mail address is correct on the submission form. You will be notified of acceptance via email.

What happens after the abstract has been accepted?

Accepted abstracts will be presented at the Society’s meeting. Presented abstracts are then eligible for publication in the Annals of Vascular Surgery (Winter Meeting) or Journal of Vascular Surgery (Spring Meeting). Submission of a manuscript is mandatory for both meetings.
