Introduction:

Aortogram with pararenal filling defect.

The patient is a 40 year-old man who underwent right above-knee amputation at an outside institution for acute ischemia eighteen months ago. He presented to a second institution two months ago with acute ischemia of the left leg. Aortogram revealed a large filling defect in the pararenal aorta (fig. 1)
